There are different levels of government, and the different levels do different things and are responsible for different things.

For example, the Legislative Branch, which includes Congress, the Senate, and the House of Representatives, make the laws.

The Executive Branch, which includes the President, the Vice President, and the Presidential Cabinet, carries out the laws.

Finally, the Judicial Branch, which includes the Supreme Court, makes sure that the laws are followed.

What is federalism? Federalism is when multiple governments have control over one area.
